Smokehouse

Fees

Any organization is welcome to use the Smokehouse (on a first come, first serve basis).  Please check the calendar for available dates.

For any member departments and those sponsored/represented by a member department the fee is $300 per use.

For non-member departments and those not sponsored/represented by a member department the fee is $500 per use.

We ask that any organization wanting to use the smokehouse contact their sponsor/local department for firefighter volunteers and/or have adults on hand to help chaperone/run the smokehouse.  We are not always able to have full staffing and volunteers are a vital to a safe operation.

 We also recently lost our ability to move the smokehouse at no cost to the WCFA.  The fees we charge do not always cover the entire cost of diesel fuel.  Although not mandatory, any donations above and beyond the upfront fee are greatly appreciated and will ensure that the smokehouse continues to educate the public at the lowest price possible.

Payment is to be received by the WCFA prior to the date of service.
