**UPDATE*** BANQUET IS POSTPONED UNTIL JANUARY 2018***
Greetings fellow firefighting brothers and sisters,
In 1931, with the guidance of the chiefs of the Chicago Fire Department, Dr. Bachelle created the Walworth County Firefighter's Association in order for area departments to train and learn with each other and promote mutual aid to better serve our communities.
This year marks the 86th anniversary of the Walworth County Firefighter's Association. Eighty-six years have elapsed since our creation and, again, we prepare to celebrate another year of our member's achievements, hard work and dedication, and we also take pause to say a prayer for those those we have lost in the passage of another year.
On Thursday October 5, 2017 we will be holding our Annual Fall Awards and Recognition Banquet at Celebrations on Wells in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
We would like you to share in celebrating our 86th year of service.
We would like guests to arrive at 5:30 pm, with an open bar and hors d'oeuvres being served. Dinner will be served after the singing of our national anthem, the pledge of allegiance, and a call to order. Awards and recognitions will be completed after our meal.
Banquet tickets for WCFA members are $40, active or retired firefighters are $45 and tickets for non firefighters are $50
Please RSVP by September 20, 2017 with your department affiliation, number of guests attending, and contact information to Jennifer, WCFA Assistant.
